About

Jonathan and Courtney shared many mutual connections when they met, mainly Sport. However a mutual love and interest grew over time. Jonathan already breeding Silkies and Courtney falling in love with them at first sight. Jonathan, originally from England, has a history with the breed, running a show chicken company in the 1990’s back in England. After leaving a job where travelling was an every day occurrence and landing in the U.S., he decided to make raising show birds his life’s calling, and began breeding Silkies in 2012. Courtney, a native Floridian and life-long animal lover, joined him in 2016.

Since they first met, they have worked side by side to expand the number of varieties of Silkies that they offer. Recent additions have led them to expand on farm life with Show Pigs. As well as this we have recently added Llamas and a small selection of cattle.

Jonathan is now a Master Exhibitor with the American Silkie Bantam Club and also a 3-time Master Breeder in Black, Buff and Grey.

Together they own and operate Pixies Poultry & Pigs LLC.
